PBS.org Redesign

Situation
A rebrand of PBS was underway and PBS.org needed a match this new look and feel. When it came to the website, resources were tight. The challenge was to keep what was working and massage the areas that could use help.

Task
As the digital design director of PBS, Kathleen led the research, discovery, strategy, and wireframing of the website redesign. Kathleen also collaborated with the team who created the new PBS brand and design system.

Action
Kathleen juggled conflicting stakeholder input by rapidly prototyping a series of initial sketches. Once the sketches were approved across the board, digital wireframes were created and tested. Kathleen had previously convinced the digital and product teams to invest in usertesting.com which was used to identify opportunities and user pain points.

Result
Kathleen’s work lay the groundwork for the website relaunch MVP and created buy-in from stakeholders across PBS.
